KNOW YOUR GHEE

"Pure" just means no mixing or adulteration nothing more. Bilona is about how the ghee is made. In the Bilona method, milk is first turned into curd, then hand-churned to get butter, and that butter is slow-cooked to make ghee the way our grandmothers used to make it at home. Most store-bought ghee skips this and is made quickly from cream. Bilona takes longer but gives you better taste, aroma, and that classic grainy texture.
A2 Gir Cow Ghee has a long shelf life and does not require refrigeration. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture
Two simple reasons: A2 milk from desi cows costs more because these cows give less milk. And Bilona ghee needs a lot more milk and time it can take around 20-25 litres of milk to make just 1 litre of ghee this way, versus much less in fast factory methods. You're paying for the good breed of cow and the slow, traditional process, not just a fancy name.
Most likely, yes. During ghee-making, almost all the milk solids (where lactose is) get removed, leaving just the pure fat. So most lactose-intolerant people digest ghee just fine, including A2 or Bilona ghee. Still, everyone's body is different, so start with a small amount, and check with your doctor if you have a known condition.
